  • Becoming Bulletproof Poster BECOMING BULLETPROOF is the story of a group of people with disabilities from across America who together take part in an ambitious indie film production. Bulletproof is a Western, complete with authentic wardrobe, saloon brawls, showdowns at the poker table, and evil villains. It’s the fruit of ideals that two brothers and their wives put into action through an inclusive film project they run in Hollywood every year.   • How I Got Over - Film Poster I worked with Mindbomb Films to create the illustration for the poster for the new documentary by Nicole Boxer. The film, titled "How I Got Over”, tells the story of a group of women that left homelessness behind, and how they got together to present their lives in a play at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.

    The element of light is the base of the concept behind the poster. These group of women worked their way out of a dark situation. At the same time the play at the Kennedy Center is a main element in the movie. Shevanda, the main character, is looking up to the future, and the texture on her face represents both the theatre’s spotlight and the light she is now facing in her life.

  • Symbiosis Symbiosis is a project focused on type experimentation. Based on the marvelous Didot Elder, I created a display font using branches and embroidery as shaping elements. The harshness of the branches is balanced by the delicacy of the detailed embroidery, they work together in a symbiotic relationship, creating natural and organic shapes that inspire quietness and latency. It's the visualization of the moment just before every system starts to bloom, the promise of a new beginning, that hasn't started yet but can already be felt.

  • Octave Octave has been created with the intention of fusing together the graphical elements of written musical composition with the English alphabet. My passion for illustration and typography made me naturally lean towards lettering, while music is a very important element in my creative process.
    While reading the newspaper or a book, a designer might unconsciously stop acknowledging the content due to the very natureof the letters. Often in observing the fonts used in books I've read, I've thought that for those of us who work with these fonts, theyare analogous to the notes on a score in the eyes of a musician. They represent the graphic structure that builds the music by which emotions, ideas and feeling are communicated. In the same way, letters are the graphic structure with which texts are composed, making them tools to communicate emotions, ideas and feelings in their own right.         2011 Graphic Design, Illustration, Typography
